After three weeks at sea I arrived home safely and started thinking about getting the kayak back out again.
If assignments have been kept on top of, Thursdays usually see a free couple of hours in the afternoon – long enough to have a few casts after pollack at a local mark.
I have had a very busy couple of weeks settling into college, trying to keep on top of assignments, adjusting to my new time table and doing yo-yo impressions between the east and west coasts.
Generally, there are two types of fishing days; those where everything seems to fall into place and those that do not. Today was one of the latter…..
It has been a very long time (16 days) since I have been able to get the kayak out onto the water. To me, that is an eternity.
This is not a fishing update. It is a pictorial look at what faces me when I return to Galway very shortly.
