I have been doing a few shore sessions recently. With weather and time constraints it was impossible to get the kayak out so the next option was to fish from the shore.
So back I was looking at the Shannon again. I wanted to take advantage of a flat calm river and try to target a small pier for conger, convinced that the area might shelter one or two.
For the majority of the summer break from college I will be stationed by the Shannon estuary with the intention of contributing towards the research work that the Shannon Dolphin and Wildlife Foundation carry out.
