Over the St. Patrick’s weekend I decided to travel a little further than Lough Corrib. With the rising temperatures and seemly more pleasant weather rolling in, I wanted to see if anything was stirring way out west in Connemara.
The past month has seen relentless winds and storms causing huge damage to coastal parts of Ireland. I have experienced harsher weather but the prolonged period that these storms prevailed for was what really caused much of the damage. There was no let up.
