Another Day, Another Bay

I had a couple of free hours this afternoon and being the stunningly calm afternoon that it was, I decided to continue my survey of the lake.

Again, I covered the water keeping a watchful eye on the echo sounder. Nothing over 3.2 metres this afternoon and not a sign of fish of any description on the screen.

The surface of the water was like glass and there was not a breath of wind. Paddling conditions could not have been better.

I think my next few forays will see me move further north. I should have the piking gear back within a week so hopefully I can find a couple of more promising locations between now and then……
